About Us
Tarpo manufactures tents, tarpaulins and camping equipment that are supplied
to hotels,lodges, hospitals, government departments, the relief sector, clubs,
schools and other organizations as well as individuals. The quality of our products
has seen us sell beyond the borders of East Africa. Our heavy duty safari
tents have found ready markets in the United States, Great Britain, Germany,
Italy and Canada among others. Exports to neighbouring countries and Europe
now account for over 50% of our manufactured products.

We are a major supplier of camping equipment and refurbishments for tented and mobile camps, relief operations and other outdoor events. Tarpo started operations in Nairobi in 1980 specializing in fabricating tents
and camping equipment suited to customer needs and conditions. Having a workforce
of over 120 people and with a factory floor space of 5,000 sq. m. today we are
a major supplier to tented camps, relief and aid organizations.
